1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) apply to all event registrations and ticket purchases made through the Courageous website.

By completing a registration or purchasing an event ticket, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

3. Registration & Contract Formation

The presentation of events on this website does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to register.

A binding agreement is concluded once your registration has been confirmed by email and payment has been successfully received.

We reserve the right to refuse registrations in exceptional circumstances or if an event has reached full capacity. Any payments already made will be refunded in full.


4. Prices

All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF).

Courageous is currently not subject to Swiss VAT, therefore no VAT is shown.

The prices published at the time of registration apply.


5. Payment

Payment is made using the payment methods offered during checkout.

Available payment methods may include:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Shop Pay
  • TWINT
  • Klarna

Payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments and the respective payment service providers.


6. Event Tickets

After successful payment, participants receive an email confirmation serving as their event ticket.

Tickets are personal and may not be resold for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

Admission may require presentation of the confirmation email or another valid proof of registration.


7. Changes, Cancellation & Refunds

If an event is cancelled by Courageous, participants will receive a full refund.

Should an event need to be postponed, all purchased tickets remain valid for the new date. Participants who are unable to attend the rescheduled event may contact us regarding available options.

Unless otherwise stated, purchased tickets are non-refundable.

Tickets may, however, be transferred to another person by notifying us before the event.


8. Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during registration is complete and accurate.

Courageous reserves the right to refuse admission to participants whose behaviour may disrupt the event or compromise the safety or experience of others.


9. Liability

Participation in Courageous events is at the participant’s own responsibility.

To the extent permitted by Swiss law, Courageous shall only be liable for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent conduct.

Any further liability, particularly for indirect or consequential damages, is excluded.

Mandatory provisions of Swiss law remain unaffected.


10. Data Protection

Protecting your personal information is important to us.

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time.


11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by Swiss law.

The place of jurisdiction shall, where legally permitted, be Dielsdorf (ZH), Switzerland.
